Two Cwmni Da productions have been nominated for the 2018 BAFTA Cymru Award in the Children’s Programme category.
TITSH is a short film about a young boy who meets a giant in the woods. He offers him a wish, but first he must answer a riddle… Directed by Daf Palfrey from the late Iola Gregory’s original idea, the film stars a young actor from Bangor – Siôn Dafydd Evans-Williams, alongside Paul Amos, Rhian Blythe, Gwen Ellis and Andrea Edwards.
The second nomination was for Deian a Loli, the children’s drama series about twins who have secret super powers! Now filming its third series, Deian a Loli won the BAFTA Cymru 2017 award for ‘Best Children’s Programme’. Deian a Loli was also nominated for the 2018 Celtic Media Festival Award.
