A continental feel was successfully created for this drama series which was shot mainly in the seaside town of Llandudno.
The series’ main character, Lili, is a creative and dreamy person who decides to replace the fruit and veg shop formerly run by her father with a flower shop. She has to deal with business problems and personal problems as an interesting love triangle develops between her and her two friends, Cat and Paul. The part of Lili was played by Rhian Blythe who won the best actress award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for her performance in the moving drama, Deep Cut. One challenge which the series set for the technical team was keeping the flowers fresh during filming. In this respect, the experience of the series’ horticultural adviser, Sioned Edwards, was invaluable.
