Dyma Fi
Changing attitudes towards young people.
Dyma Fi was an exciting project which ran from 2013-2016 and gave a voice to the young people of Wales.
The Dymafi.tv website and app gave a platform to young people between the ages of 13 and 18. They uploaded videos and shared a part of their lives as part of the Children’s Commissioner for Wales’ Dyma Fi/See Me (http://www.seeme-dymafi.org.uk/) project. The aim of the project was to give a realistic picture of young people in Wales today – in their own words. In 2013, a television programme was created from video footage of the lives of young people filmed over 24 hours on 22nd of June combined with content sent posted online.
The project continued in 2014 and 2015 and gathered opinions from young people across Wales by visiting schools and events in the Dyma Fi mobile studio. The app was developed to include a questionnaire which allowed more young people to take part.
