Dementia kick starts new journey for two old friends

When Llansteffan based film director Tim Lyn got a Facebook message from a friend he hadn’t seen since primary school nearly fifty years ago, he couldn’t have imagined what would follow.

For Eirlys Smith of Menai Bridge, spotting a former school friend’s name on film credits seemed like fate. Having been diagnosed with early onset Dementia at 57 years of age and finding daily life challenging, fond memories of being with Tim at Menai Bridge primary school came flooding back.

DRYCH: Eirlys, Dementia and Tim discovers what happens when the two old friends meet again after following very different paths in life.

Are they able to rekindle their friendship as Eirlys faces losing herself and her memories, and Tim is forced to look at his own past and future? All will be revealed in this moving documentary.
