BBC Wales | 4 x 30munud

Series following the people of Llŷn from the spring to Autumn of 2014, as the seasons come and go.

Breathtakingly beautiful, the Llŷn Peninsula is one of Wales’s most popular holiday destinations. Many of its tourists come here to find – and sometimes buy – their corner of ‘Welsh‘ Wales. But Llŷn is also a stronghold of Welsh language and culture with a proud Welsh heritage.

What is life like for the locals who try and make a living in this Welsh Heartland? Some fear for Llŷn’s Welsh future – can they keep their language strong and still keep a welcome for the visitors? This documentary looks at the people who call Llŷn ‘home’ as they juggle the pressures of making a living and keeping their language and culture close, in a series that follows the locals of Llŷn from Spring to Autumn as the seasons come and go.
